Accessibility information
Our online shop
You can search for products, read product information, add items to your cart and place an order. During checkout you enter your contact and address details, choose shipping and payment and review your order before placing a binding order. Guest checkout is available without creating an account. An account provides additional address, order and download features.
Requirements and implementation
Storefront development is guided by the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and its implementing ordinance. The technical development target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA together with the applicable requirements of EN 301 549. Information and controls should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
The shop provides labelled form fields, input error messages, keyboard controls, focus management for dialogs and a skip link. Search suggestions and selected status messages include screen reader markup. Light and dark colour modes are available. Your device setting for reduced motion is respected.
Using the shop
- Use Tab to move between links and controls, and Shift and Tab to move back. The first link takes you directly to the page content.
- Activate buttons with Enter or Space. Close modal dialogs with Escape.
- Use the arrow keys to select a search suggestion and Enter to open it.
- Product images can be opened using the keyboard. In the image dialog, use the magnifier button or double-click to zoom and drag to pan. With focus on the image area, Enter or Space toggles zoom and the arrow keys pan the enlarged image.
- When multiple banners are shown, the pause button between the arrow buttons stops automatic rotation.
- You can also use the zoom and reading functions of your browser or operating system.
Status and known limitations
A complete independent conformity assessment of the entire website is not currently available. These technical measures do not demonstrate complete accessibility. Content, documents, custom themes and integrated payment services require additional assessment in each individual shop.
When the maths CAPTCHA is enabled, registration, the contact form, password requests and guest newsletter subscriptions require solving an arithmetic task. This may create a barrier for people with cognitive disabilities. Browsing products and ordering as a guest do not require this task. The contact details in our legal notice provide alternative ways to contact us.
Reporting barriers
Please tell us which page and function you were trying to use. Use the contact details in our legal notice or the contact form. If you cannot use the form, please use a direct contact method listed in the legal notice.
